ML100 Course Description

The MobileLinux ML100 Rapid Track Linux training is designed for networking specialists, system administrators and general users. This ten (10) day course provides intensive hands-on training on Red Hat Linux 9, and prepares attendees for the Linux Professional Institute Certification (LPIC) and Red Hat Certification (RHCE & RHCT).

The Rapid Track Linux training Course (ML100) covers essential skills and knowledge required to effectively utilize the Linux operating system and applications in the enterprise. By using Instructor Lead Training and realistic performance-based lab exercies, course attendees benefit from the course.

Course attendees will be able to: install and configure Red Hat Linux; understand hardware limitations; configure file and networking systems, and configure the X Window System. Other skills covered include configuring basic security, setting up common network (IP) services, web services, basic diagnostics and troubleshooting, and performing essential system administration.
